From Struggle To Strength: How DAILYCALI Was Born? -Founder's Story

The Story Behind DAILYCALI - A Personal Journey.


Hello, I'm Desmond H., the founder of DAILYCALI! For over 7 years, I've been exploring and practicing the art of calisthenics. Beyond being a fitness enthusiast, I'm also a model and social worker. Today, I want to share my story with you – the story that gave birth to DAILYCALI. So, how DAILYCALI was born?


Like many young adults, I once found myself adrift, searching for purpose and meaning. School felt unfulfilling, and I struggled to identify any innate talents or skills that could make a real difference in the world. 

Then, I discovered calisthenics. 


This discovery wasn't just about finding a new workout routine—it was a life-altering revelation. Calisthenics opened my eyes to a broader perspective, sharpened my thinking, and catalyzed a journey of self-improvement that continues to this day. 

As I delved deeper into the world of calisthenics, I began to see it as more than just exercise. To me, it became an art form that demands discipline, dedication, and a deep connection between mind and body. I found beauty in every aspect of this practice—from the rhythmic flow of muscle movements to the precise coordination between joints. 

My personal transformation through calisthenics ignited a passion to share this incredible practice with others. I hoped to create a space where everyone, regardless of their fitness level or experience, could discover the transformative power of bodyweight training. 


That's why I created DAILYCALI.


I wanted to build a platform that would make calisthenics more accessible, providing high-quality content, hosting workshops, and fostering a supportive community. My goal was to equip others with the tools and knowledge I wish I had when I first started my journey. 


Through DAILYCALI, I aim to show that calisthenics is more than just a workout—it's a pathway to self-discovery, personal growth, and connection with like-minded individuals. I believe that by incorporating calisthenics into our daily lives, we can unlock our potential and become the best versions of ourselves. 

My journey with calisthenics has taught me that sometimes, finding your purpose means creating it yourself. DAILYCALI is my way of turning my passion into a mission—to help others experience the profound impact that calisthenics has had on my life.

About Us:


This series aims to provide an in-depth, easy-to-understand interpretation of various books related to health, exercise science, and sports psychology, helping you embark on a healthier, more scientific fitness journey.


DAILYCALI, which means "Making Calisthenics a Daily Routine," has been dedicated to incorporating exercise science into bodyweight training since its establishment in 2021, reducing the risk of sports injuries and systematically improving training results. We offer diverse courses covering calisthenics, myofascial release, stretching, etc., and provide bilingual instruction in Chinese and English, as well as flexible class schedules including personal training, group classes, and workshops.
