(1) WHY

Nothing But Passion.

I’m a naturally curious person who loves asking questions. On my learning journey, I’ve been blessed with great teachers who shared everything they knew. I am grateful that they took so much time and patience in someone who wasn’t naturally gifted.

I received so many opportunities and help that I felt I didn't deserve. Beyond skills, my teachers taught me how to work with care and dedication.

To give back for all I’ve received, I am driven to become a teacher myself to pass it forward and support those in need in my community.

(2) WHAT REALLY MATTERS TO ME

Exercise is not a competition; it is a process of building responsibility.

When I was an athlete, winning came first. As a coach, it was easy to get caught up comparing number of students or results. But there is only one champion, and no one stays on top forever. Endless comparison only leads to a trap.

There is also a hidden cost to competing. The harder you push for medals, the more toll it can take on your body—ironically driving us further away from health and the true nature of sports.

Movement itself is good, but the wrong mindset can lead us astray. What truly matters is whether training helps us become healthier human beings, giving us the vitality to care for others. We must take responsibility for our own health and lead by example to inspire those around us.

Teaching is not about showing off or following trends. It’s about practically guiding students to find what their bodies need, build good habits, and practice steadily. Staying true and getting not affected by all the noise in the industry is hard, but it is what I value most. I cherish every student I meet on this journey.

(3) WHAT IS THE MEANING OF DOING CALISTHENICS?

Technology and equipment are always changing, but all training eventually comes down to one thing: mastering your own body. Bodyweight movement is the starting point of all sports.

Training with nothing but your own body weight without relying on external equipment or tools is pure, beautiful, and a way for me to appreciate God’s creation.

Beyond building muscle or losing fat, our mobility equals freedom. Mobility training allows me to stay open and be flexible mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Learning calisthenics is a process of "daily decrease." It teaches me to live simply without feeling lacking. It can happen anytime and anywhere.
