When it comes to trust, I believe in either full trust or no trust at all. Trust is an act of kindness—it means believing that the other person is also kind, having the same kind of faith, and being willing to grow together.

It seems that ever since I’ve followed this principle, my path has been smooth and steady.

Over the past five years at DAILYCALI—from writing blog articles to leading courses to the teamwork we do today—it has been one kind person after another who has taken up the torch.

I hate trying to figure out if the other person has secrets. In reality, kindness may not always work, but it can never fail; the ideal outcome is a win-win situation. However, the worst possible outcome of mutual calculation is a lose-lose.

Pt. Soul:

Running your own brand isn’t what makes you cool.

What’s truly cool is that you spend your time—before and after falling asleep—thinking about the problems you need to solve tomorrow and be woken up by those problems and spend the entire day fixing them. What a soulful thing that is.

With that kind of soul, even every step you take feels more grounded.

& The soul doesn’t need a complicated definition; it’s something everyone can possess—simply a matter of learning to appreciate. Learn to love what you’re doing, love the views by the roadside, love where you come from, love your culture, and learn to appreciate yourself.
